Seven Tools to Automate Your Twitter Business

Twitter is one of the most powerful marketing tools any Internet Marketer has at their disposal.

Millions of people use the service every day so it is possible to connect with a massive global audience, to whom you can market your goods and services.

Getting started with Twitter is easy. Just go to twitter and sign up. All you need is an email address.

Building a business with one twitter account will take you time but it is certainly possible. Personally, I use several accounts to create a large following in a common niche. I then market to my followers to sell affiliate products or CPA offers. This is not rocket science, and anyone can do it. All you need is the time and determination to succeed.

Here are some of my favorite Twitter tools you can use to help you exploit Twitter to make money:

Socialoomph.com - This web service is packed with features and you can get a free account or upgrade to a paid version which does even more. Personally, I use the free version to manage several accounts. If you have never heard of Socialoomph, I suggest to make this your first port of call after registering your Twitter accunt

Twitterfall - This is another greate web resource to find people who share common interests. I use it to search for people who are tweeting about my particular niche. If I am trying to market an Amazon product for example, let's say a specific brand of netbook, I would search here for people talking about that netbook, then follow them. You can

Hootsuite - This allows you to connect several social network sites together and is really great if you are into Marketing. THere's a free version and a subscription version.

twitaholic.com - A free web resource that tracks the top twitterers. I use this a lot to see who and what is popular.

TweetAttacks - A great piece of software that automates a whole load of stuff I used to do manually on Twitter and with some of the above resources. Saves me a load of time, and helps me build my business. There's a free version and a paid verion.

Twuffer.com - A tweet scheduler. A very useful free web resource. Just pre write a load of tweets to your members and this service will send them out to your schedule.

Tweet This - Is a free Wordpress Plugin and is one of the few plugins that actually work wiht the New Twitter.  It doesn't use the Twitter API; it uses the Web to post tweets, so its great if you are a blogger.  Your blog posts can be set to automatically tweeted to your twitter account.  You have to register a Twitter Application for this plugin to work properly, but that is very easy.  The plugin author has included a link to the appropriate page.  Just follow his instructions.

These tools will help you get your twitter business running automatically and that means you can free precious time up to do other things, like finding profitable products and niches to sell, write articles, build backlinks and so on.
